About Dale
I have been a speaker, author, teacher and spiritual counselor/advisor for nearly thirty years. Some of my hats worn through the years were those of Senior Minister at the Unity Churches of San Luis Obispo, CA, Missoula, MT, Anchorage, AK, San Juan, Puerto Rico and presently--Mississauga, ON, Canada. I have served as a waiter, taxi driver, janitor, corporation VP, board president, citizen diplomat and many, many roles in between. An ordained Unity minister, my practice has evolved into clear focus through the writings and teachings of Emilie Cady, Charles Fillmore, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Carolyn Myss, M. Scott Peck, and most recently directed through the works of Eckhart Tolle and Byron Katie.
My path has been one of direct exploration within the arenas of metaphysics, authenticity, emotional literacy, healing, evolution of consciousness, authentic community building, embrace & celebration of diversity, Twelve Step recovery programs, Inquiry, and most significantly, through simple conversations with so many fellow seekers.
My journey has led me deeply into and through trauma and favor, addiction and recovery, loss & rebirth, control and surrender, depression and bliss, slavery to circumstance and freedom within the moment, the deep pain of attachment and the sweet joy of acceptance. In short, I have been to the places in mind where life seems to fail and have witnessed the ever-present reality of immediate redemption and renewal. I have found without exception, that every moment is a clear window and invitation to begin anew.
At my memorial service I hope it to be said by those who know me that I was authentic, accepting and available.
